where are you??

[So, funny story. Maizono and Natsuru had date plans tonight. Not one to let a little something like her wife shrinking to doll size discourage them, Maizono still took her out to a restaurant. And somehow, in just a few minutes alone at (more like on) the table, Natsuru managed to get herself swept off someplace else.

That's much too long a story for her to text, though. Just the relevant details for now...]

i think its a coat room??? or maybe lost & found.

[And of course she adds the name of the restaurant. Which is not Cloudberry Jam, but maybe a place somewhere in the general area.]

[ She'll find out everything later. ]

um ok i'm on my way. why would you be in a lost & found though?

went in purse to check phone and got taken away

[... Yeah, that makes a lot of sense if Asuka's not aware of the whole. Doll-sized thing.]

[ oooooookaaaay? how? Magic purse? ]

[ And then Natsuru might hear a sound quite a bit later. She went to the closet first, but she wasn't there, so looking in lost and found now. ]

Natsuru-chaaan?

[Hearing Asuka's voice, a tiny head pokes out of a purse.]

Asuka-chan? Over here!

[It's embarrassing, but she knows she'll need to get her attention to get noticed. She's not that small, but most people don't expect a doll-sized person when they hear a voice.]

[ It takes a while for Asuka to spot her. Not weird at all, she wasn't expecting for her friend to be so small.

She comes over and picks the purse up. ]

Um... What happened to you?

[Natsuru braces herself so she doesn't fall deeper into the purse when Asuka picks it up. She still gasps at the sudden movement, but it's about what she expected.]

It was one of those gifts! They seemed normal this time, but then this happened...

Oh. I just got normal stuff, but it seems like some people got really random stuff happening to them. So that's why you're so tiny, huh.

[ She carefully picks Natsuru out of the purse. ]

Wow, you're adorable.

[She's been picked up several times now, but it never stops being weird. At least she trusts Asuka.]

Th...anks?

[She's trying to take it as a compliment.]

It's not that easy getting around, though...

I can imagine. Reaching stuff at my height is difficult enough without climbing things, and you're shorter than my thigh.

[ Now where to? ]

Is Sayaka-chan here somewhere?

Oh! She left our table for a minute, but yeah!

[Now she's blushing a little. That's one more detail that sets her apart from real dolls.]

We're, um... here on a date. I don't know where she is, though.

[She was in the purse her whole way here.]

Okay. Do you know what part of this place your table was?

[ She lifts her up so she can get a good look around while Asuka looks around for Sayaka. ]

Not really... Sayaka's been carrying me in her purse when we go out.

[How embarrassing. But it's safer than any other option.]

I know it's not in a corner...

Okay, we'll find her, don't worry.

[ She lowers her down again. ]

Wanna ride on my shoulder?

[ She keeps looking around. ]

What were you eating?

Isn't there a safer way? I tried riding on Shiraishi-san's shoulder and I almost fell off...

[She could stay in the purse, but Asuka might not get away with removing it from the lost and found without proving it's hers somehow. And with Maizono's ID right inside...]

I don't remember what it's called. [Oh, but...!] But there's only one plate at a table for two! ... Since I don't eat very much like this.

I have a breast pocket. Maybe you fit in there.

[ She'll leave the purse, yes. But she's bringing her best friend with her. ]

Okay, I'll look for that.

You think? It's a little small...

[Though, she's the size of a Barbie doll but she's not as stiff. Maybe she could fit somehow?]

You could try, maybe. Or I can hold you, it depends on what you think's best.

[ It would be best if she could see what is going on, right? ]

Maybe... if you think it'll work...

[She could try curling up inside the pocket, and she'd still be poking out enough to look around, maybe?]

[ She could probably sit in it. Asuka's bust isn't all that big, but it's a somewhat decent seat for a tiny person. ]

You'll only know once you try, right.

[ She lifts her up a little and opens up the pocket so that it'll be easy for Natsuru to get in. ]

[Well, she has a point. Might as well try.

She does manage to climb inside a little, her feet and legs brushing against both the fabric of the pocket and... something soft through the material of Asuka's shirt. Things she never expected to think: Asuka's bust makes a pretty decent cushion to rest against.

She manages to curl up enough that her shoulders and head poke out of the pocket, and she holds on to the edge of it just in case.]

... How's this?

[She feels stable-ish, at least.]

[ Asuka nods when she thinks Natsuru is properly in her pocket and lowers her hand. ]

I'll walk now, tell me if it's too scary.

'Kay...

[She braces herself, inadvertently leaning back into Asuka a little. The things she experiences in this town...]
