[ So, uh. Thanks to things happening for the event Maizono happened to find out that Asuka's on the black team. Uh.

This is going to be so awkward, isn't it? Even if it's someone she knows, she's none too pleased that she's doing this to her - but then again, it's not like she knows anyone else who'd be cool with her just running up to them and pulling their pants down in the middle of town.

Plus, at least with this it wouldn't be nearly as embarrassing. Or so she thinks.

So here's Maizono, standing outside with a basket of Pocky in her hand, breathing in and out to compose herself and get ready to do the thing - before she knocks on Asuka's door and calls out. ]

Asuka-chan? Are you home?

[ Asuka is in the middle of a snack when she hears the knock on the door. She gets the cat off her stomach and comes over to open the door, drink in hand. ]

Hey, Sayaka-chan, what's up?

Well, I wanted to stop by with some Pocky! I actually found that giant strawberry-flavored one that you mentioned a while back, so I figured we could have some together?

[ That part she's not lying about - Maizono presents the basket she was carrying, which had several Pocky flavors in it, including the aforementioned Tsubu Tsubu Giant Strawberry. ]

. . . is it okay if I come in?

Oooh, nice. Sure, come in.

[ Pocky~ ]

Ah, thank you!

[ Well, that was simple enough... at least there won't be too much fallout to deal with since they're home alone-ish. ]

How've you been since I saw you last?

[ Well yeah, she wouldn't want Badr to see this. ]

I've been good, having fun.

[ Let's be real, neither of them would want anyone to see what's about to go down... ]

Oh? What've you been up to, if you don't mind me asking? The event, I'm assuming?

Can't tell you, you're my competition.

[ She grins. She's competitive, okay. ]

Touché.

[ She's got a point. ]

I hope you know, though, that I'm not gonna make it easy for you!

Good, I like a challenge!

[ Too bad Sayaka isn't on the team she's supposed to pants. ]

[ Meanwhile, Maizono herself is trying to wait for that right moment TO pants her... ]

Doesn't everyone...! I don't think I've seen everyone and everything this competitive in ever...

Isn't it fun? This has got to be the best event the Landlord's given us in ages.

I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy myself!

That said, some of the tasks we have to do for it are rather unorthodox, to say the least......

Yeah, they kinda are, but I've gotta take this seriously if I'm gonna win against Mako-san.

Mako-san...?

[ Maizono blinks, frowning in confusion. ]

Is it Mako-kun you're talking about, or someone else entirely?

The Tachibana one.

[ There's so many Mako here. ]

Ah... there's too many Makos here...

[ Seriously, how many does this make that she knows of? ]

Did they mention what team they was on? Because now I'm wondering why single them out, of all people.

Well, again, this event IS bringing out everyone's competitive sides, so it's not that odd!

Then I'm sorry in advance, Asuka-chan! Because I'm on the same team as Mako-san...

And I need to do this to you since you're my rival.

[ GO MAIZONO GO

Before Asuka can even react properly, Maizono lunging forward and, in as quick of a motion as she can muster, grabs her and pulls down her pants in as quick a gesture as she can...

( But is she even wearing pants? Or is it a skirt? Then wouldn't it be called skirts instead? ) ]

[ She's actually wearing shorts today, so it's still pantsing, right?

Asuka is caught by surprise, and suddenly her shorts are around her knees.

Did she say Makoto's team? In one movement she steps out of one of the legs of the shorts, and her drink goes at Sayaka. ]

Oops.

[ OHGOD well, on the one hand, at least she managed to successfully pants ( shorts? ) Asuka!

On the other hand, though, THAT'S COLD and she probably smells like fruit juice or something now and her clothes are drenched...

Maizono just lays on the floor for a few moments, still holding onto Asuka's shorts as her groan starts turning into helpless laughter. ]

Okay... I deserved that...

You got me.

[ Asuka giggles, and then she starts to laugh as well. ]

Oh man, I haven't gotten to that part yet, but at least I got other points.

Ah... the drink, right?

[ It's actually kind of nice since it was so hot out! Though Maizono expects that she's gonna need a shower once she gets home... ]

Yeah... you were the only person on the black team I could think of that I could, ah, do this to without offending them, and even then... well, I didn't want to embarrass you that badly.

So that's why all of this. I really did want to bring you the Pocky to share, though!
